During the conference we plan to dedicate special time to an excursion in the beautiful area of Trogir. The excursion will take you through some of the most exquisite UNESCO’s cultural heritage sites: Split and Trogir.

Program of the excursion:

Drive from hotel, along the Kaštela bay, direction to Split, the largest and most important town in Dalmatia.

The heart of city is Diocletian`s Palace built in the period between 295 AD and 305 AD. It is one of the most important works of late-antique architecture and one of the world’s most impressive Roman ruins in existence, these UNESCO-protected remains still serve the very purpose they were built for: life is lived inside them. Guided visit (walking tour), entrance fee for Diocletian`s Cave is included.

On the way back to our hotel, stop in the beautiful town of Trogir, considered as an excellent example of medieval town, very well preserved and with the minimum of modern interventions. Its Romanesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroques building from Venetian period. UNESCO has recognized long ago the unique beauty of this exquisite pearl among many Mediterranean settlements.
