The international conference “The New Generation in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems 2013”, NGSCES 2013 will take place in Sestri Levante, Italy, 1^th–5^th July 2013.

The aim of this conference is to bring together emergent researchers in the field of strongly correlated electrons and foster discussions and collaborations in a friendly atmosphere.

The state of the art and the new trends in the theoretical understanding and experimental investigation of correlated materials will be reviewed and discussed. We plan to promote the exchange of ideas among young researchers having different backgrounds. The final program will include many oral and poster presentations chosen among contributed abstracts from young and emergent researchers.
